Step 1: Import your document
There are several ways to import documents into Anara:Option A: Upload from your computer
- Click the + icon in the left sidebar
- Select File upload
- Choose your document (PDF, Word, text file, etc.)
- Your file will appear in your Library
Option B: Import via URL
- Click the + icon and select Import → URL
- Paste the URL of an online PDF or webpage
- Click Import to add it to your library
Option C: Drag and drop
Simply drag your file from your computer and drop it onto the Library tableAnara supports many file types including PDFs, Word documents, images, videos, and audio files.
Step 2: Open the document
- Navigate to your Library from the left sidebar
- Find your imported document in the table
- Click on the document name to open it
Step 3: Start chatting
Once your document is open:- The chat panel will appear on the right side
- Type your question in the chat input box at the bottom
- Press Enter or click the send button
Example questions you can ask:
- “Summarize the main points of this document”
- “What are the key findings?”
- “Explain the methodology section”
- “Find information about [specific topic]“
Step 4: Navigate using citations
When Anara responds:- Click on any citation in the response
- Anara will automatically navigate to the relevant section in the document
- The view will switch to tabs if needed to show the source
Tips for better results
- Be specific: Ask focused questions about particular sections or topics
- Use follow-up questions: Build on previous responses to dive deeper
- Reference page numbers: You can ask about specific pages or sections
- Combine with highlighting: Annotate important sections as you chat
